This blog started as a way to document Jeff’s heart condition that almost put him on a  heart transplant list.  This led to having weight loss surgery to be a better heart transplant candidate.  Thanks to weight loss surgery he did not have a heart transplant.  We will continue to use Fam5 as a conduit to inform others of what saved Jeff’s life.  We enjoy blogging and instead of starting a new blog for other writings we figured we would continue to use Fam5.  If you follow our blog you will see that we have no set topics to which we write about.  We write about whatever tickles our fancy.  

The name Fam5 was devised from our family which consist of 5 people.  We took Family of 5 and put them together to make up Fam5.  Please be sure to visit often, bookmark our blog and even subscribe via RSS feeds.  We welcome comments to our post and look forward to reading them.
